Sanditthiko Vihara and Santidīpa Monastic Retreat Residence, La Habana, Cuba
Sanditthiko Vihara, the first known Theravada Buddhist vihara in Cuba was founded by Theravada Cuba in Centro Habana. As the challenges in Cuba increased, covering all aspects of daily life, Theravada Cuba closed Sanditthiko Vihara for now and opened Santidīpa Monastic Retreat Residence in East Habana. Santidipa: Luz de Paz (Light of Peace) is for meditative retreat only.

Local Teachings
Bhava NIrodha Nilaya is a monastic residence with a small Dhammasālā in Fort White, Florida. Currently open only by request otherwise closed through hurricane season. After 12 noon, the Dhammasālā is too hot to inhabit during the summer months.
